i would say the studying his degree is a really radical act, because it allows you to engage with the big questions of the present. I mean, things like environmental history is becoming a really important new area where people are exploring patterns of climate change and challenges to the environment in different areas of the world. There's just constantly kind of echoes of the present in the past. And that dialogue between past and present his really, really important. For students, for some students, it's a passion project, studying history. But for others, i think they perhaps have to explain to their peers and to their parents why it's important and valuable.
