JP Morgan's valuation declined 22 billion yesterday because its share price dropped 5.4%. SVB is unusual in having a very large proportion of business depositors. Most other banks don't have that, their deposit base is consumers. Consumers historically are just way less savvy and can't be asked to be honest to change their bank.
