What About the Copyright Settlement?
A proposed settlement between copyright and ownership on, between publishers and authors and bogle ended up being decided by the courts. The publisher sued google cause they didn't like their materials being scanned and made available in any way shape or form without their assent. They said, instead of just figuring out, you know, ok, Google will pay us x million dollars and we'll go away, why don't we use the fact that this is a class action lawsuit? And so the idea was, what if we sold this thing that ouve digitized?
