What About Black Britons in the 18th Century?

The American Revolution was the largest emancipatory event in American history. Many of those formerly enslaved people would have ended up living in Britain, wouldn't they? There wasn't an attempt to send them back to Africa. They were part of the creation paradoxically, if you like, of Britain's first colony in Africa. Sierra Leone was free to as a colony in 1806, 1807.
