The Differences Between Bayesian Statistics and Frequent Statistics
Unlike frequent statistics, Bayesian statistics has a very nice way of comparing different models to each other. You compute the evidence for each model, and you compare those, you have an evidence ratio. It requires sophisticated numerical techniques, essentially something called nested sampling. But we can do that these days, we couldn't in the past. So before we weren't able to compute the evidence, now we are.
