The Priestly Reinvestiture in Genesis

The Lord declodes Adam of that fig leaf garment and he reclothes him in those garments of skin. That type of garment is seen as the priestly robes, the cloak that the priests put on themselves. In order for Cain or able to offer up any sort of sacrifices in Genesis four, this priestly reinvestiture has to be in place.
