Is It a Matter of Hardware?

The term for the term for acid came out in the early 80s, if I recall. It's really just been a matter of like getting the tools in place and getting the experience kind of building these systems that to finally kind of match up with the theory behind it. Well, some of that I wonder a question I've always questioned, like is that a matter of hardware wasn't where we needed to be or global networking definitely wasn't.
