The Gospels and Acts is selective. The material in here is selective. It's not exhaustive. So the question that should always be in your mind is, well, why is that guy getting mentioned? Why is that place getting mentioned? And in a number of these cases, it has to do with this Deuteronomy 32 worldview thinking linking these places back to the events of Pentecost because of Jews getting converted and then spreading the gospel. Be on the lookout for that if you're reading ahead in the book of Acts, you're going to see that.
