The Importance of Emotions in Music

There's a long tradition of theorizing about that, going back to Plato and Aristotle. Music in some way resemble either inwardly or outwardly the emotions. So that music has a kind of inside edge for capturing or hooking into or representing or expressing the emotional side of life.
