The Facemaker by Harold Gilly
A lot of these disfigured soldiers during the first real war were hidden from the public. I talk about in the face maker that they were forced to sit on brightly painted blue benches, for instance, so that the blic knew not to look at them. So i really want their stories to be told. And i hope in the end, if you pick up the facemaker and you read it, you feel that i've done their stories justice.
