Avulsion Fracture of the Right ASIS
An 11-year-old female soccer player had a non-contact injury in which she felt a pop about her right hip. She has been able to bear weight since then, but has pain with activities. An AP pelvis radiographs obtained in the office today, reveals an avulsion fracture of the right ASIS. There are several possible pelvic avulsion fractures that can be seen in adolescence.
