Why Are Americans So Crazy About Kids?

People always ask me like why are Americans so crazy about kids? In fact, the answer is, damned if I know. It's incomprehensible in a certain way. People want to protect children but they don't want to protect them from homelessness or not having health care and guns. The same person who sponsored the bill to defund Kinsey also just recently sponsored several second amendment protection bills. On one side, comical but on the other side it's really just what is wrong with these people.
