You Don't Have to Be an Economist to Understand the Economy

In your book, you say that economics is about the economy. It's not about everything. So how do you reconcile those two things? I think when I was reading the Edible Economics book, it took a little bit more of an expansive view about how economics can inform everything,. Even sort of just, you know, when you buy your food. But by saying that economics is supreme, we are actually forcing all these other things to be second to calculations of profit and so on. And I don't think that that is actually a healthy thing.
