In 2000, there were just a handful of missing women in Vancouver. The RCMP assembled their own team and invited some of the VPD officers who'd been working the case to join them. By April 1st, 2001, just three months into the new year, four more disappeared. And those 10 officers were busy sifting through more than 1,300 tips that had come in from the public about potential suspects.
