The Importance of Ethical Research in the Climate Crisis
The place of maximum effectiveness is here five okay. In NGO world these are what you might call as my supervisor once said to me these are things that make you irrelevant they put off the public. That's pretty nice that right doesn't do anything and at a certain point it takes off when you're approaching at number 10. My empirical research showed that actually in terms of creating the structural change which objectively needed on the climate crisis like all of this is utterly hopeless. I'm not making some big ideological point here I'm not saying that direct action or NGO activity is in and of itself bad or good but just being an empirical social scientist that's what I did at King's College.
