There's a whole body of legal scholarship about how, especially law enforcement and other government agencies like Child Protective Services are using these third-party data products in order to avoid following warrant requirements. So what they do is instead of collecting their own data in house and storing it in their own files where they would have more statutory and constitutional obligations attached to them,. Instead, they get, you know, they sign a license with Lexus Nexus, they're one of these data brokers and they just stream personal data. They don’t own it. They just kind of look at it through their subscription and they get around the warrant obligations that way.
