It's useful to do a hyperjum swab that looks for exosgensative chronic endometritis which is treatable and it's a reversible cause of abnormal uterine bleeding. What they really need is some form of imaging of the structure there, of the uterus and cervix and ovaries so that would be the next step. In terms of admissions I would admit anyone who is unstable has lost a lot of blood, who is a blood transfusion. So I think it is fairly important and if the skill that I think junior doctors should obtain.
