Is Twitter the Next Big Thing?
Twitter is an important example of what happens when we hand over our informational infrastructure to a private company. I think what will happen with the other companies depends on whether the government intervenes in the Twitter situation. What's the most shocking example you've come across of how data analytics can tell companies something that you really wouldn't think they'd know? There are companies developing products to not only tag people who are addicted to heroin, other opioids, but also to predict if somebody is at risk of becoming addicted.
