The Gospel Is the Cause of Unity

In the early days of neo evangelical movement, figures like billy graham and karl henry unified evangelicals. Do you feel unification among evangelicals by a statesmanlike figure is possible, or even desirable to day? And if so, what would it take for this person to to rise topro and have that effect? If god has raised up, through the centuries, aStatesmanlike leaders who have singularly blessed the church and brought the church together, but hope for unity is not to be found in any one other than christ. The gospel is the cause of unity.
