The Irony of Melissa Etheridge

Imitation is the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, but typically for humor. So people talk about hipsters being ironic these days because they're trying to like dress like a farmer or dress like they did in the past without irony. If I presented myself as something different than I am, it would be,. that would be irony, like bringing humor into the situation with something opposite or unexpected. Or even maybe running into someone that you would never expect to run into. It's what we discuss here as we discover it and discover it ourselves.
