The Signs Are Not the Same as the 12 Constellations
The sky is divided into 12 pie slices, which are called houses. These 12 houses are 12 chunks of our earth's daily spin. There are also 12 signs, which don't show in this little diagram that made here but you're aware of that. Astronomically, i find that that's helpful. The 12 signs are not the same thing as the 12 constellations. And astronomy helps us to understand what are these 12Signs.
