How Do You Know if You Need a Transaction?
If you're only updating one entity, like one row in a table, it's kind of less important than you have transactions assuming your database is smart about having a Thomas city so it's able to just update that row. If you have two objects that you're updating, like two tables or maybe two different databases, then your need for transactions becomes much higher. But when we get into another episode, we'll be talking specifically about distributed databases and how things would happen in that world.
