The Importance of Visibility for LGBTQ+ Youth
Sister Unity of the Los Angeles Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence: It's so critical that not just during Pride Month, but all year around in the face of these unprecedented attacks on our community. There's between 5,000 to 7,000 kids who are kicked out of their families or had to run away from abuse on the streets of LA on any given night and there's only like 500 beds for them. This is a sophisticated issue. I am so impressed with Generation Z. They get it and they're active.
