Delivering Us From Evil

In the Psalms, evil is usually not talked about in any sort of abstract way. It's actually named evil people who are doing evil things. And so when we say deliver us from evil, we're not just talking about some force or some, or some, some thing that happens. But rather deliver us from the evil one. So Satan is a personification of evil and just like death is personified.
