The Theory of the Killer's Abandonment
The tires on Daniel's car were tested and there was no dirt that matched the logging road where they were found off of. So that kind of plays into the theory that the killer abandoned the car, right? Right. Maybe they met them at the rest stop and forced them to go somewhere in their car than the killer ditched it. But again, for argument's sake, let's say that the killer still took the car with them in it, went to a second location, killed them, then used another car to take them to the burial site. Then he just wants to dump their car.
