The Story of Peter Flishman

i chose peter flishman because the events of his life are completely illustrative of all the various geopolitical, geohistoric forces that are coming to bear on me. He e he was born into a family journalists who ran a a newspaper in breslaw at some point. His parents were killed when their car plunges into wansea lake and they're told it's for political reasons. Peter is sent off to aurback orphanage in berlin where he becomes an aspiring artist before being targeted by brown shirts during crystal nut violence. At 16 years old has no prospects but makes it to england with only his uncle as support.
