Is There a Better Way to Design a Quantum Computer?

Quantum computers are still very unstable, as nobody knows what is the best design to build a quintum computer. The better we get into it, the smaller they will get, until you can no longer design them. So i like to imagine it as one day you will have a quantum phone - but that's in the far future.
