Dynamic Tracing in a Clustered Environment?
The way it works is that it's going to start tracing on every node and it will merge the result into one picture. Right now we do not allow to separate the data from all these nodes into different graphs. It may come at some point. I don't have a huge need for it myself, but if people need it, why not? "It's really interesting distributed system technologies," he says.
Orion is an interesting library created by Thomas Depierre that makes it easy to run dynamic distributed tracing in your app on production! It includes a LiveView UI for visualizing the performance and running multiple traces simultaneously.
