Fred hampton was not the only black panther to talk in those terms. There were other elements and panthers that were more nationalist. And also, of course, people changed. I mean, hughe p newton ends up as a sort of social democrat, kind of corrupt social emocrat,. And yono going to santa cruz, so and, you know, eldridge cleaver ends up asa ragan republican. And edo. So basically allo oftem went through, kind of, like, malcolm x, a sort of set of simple black nationalism, into an increasingly sated class politics.
