The Importance of Internal Frameworks in Defensive Operations
We don't operate 100% with our framework. It all depends on the level of the target, what we want to emulate. We will use Cobalt Strike if it calls for it. For example, there was one engagement where the host had a tune EDR which was surprising. A lot of people don't realize this, but a defender controls two important things for the attacker. One of them is the tooling, the other one is the tempo.
