The Importance of Mercy

The Bible never says that suffering is always a result of sin. The book of Job shows us that sometimes profound suffering can come into your life and you can be blameless. So the Bible also says that every time you sin, every time you choose self instead of God, that's going to bring you into difficulty. And so when we run from him, God runs after us with severe mercies.
