Mary lynde was a popular teacher who had won beauty pageants in the past. She and her ex-husband were smitten with one another, but things didn't go quite as smoothly with his two children. Brown would occasionally steal some of mary lynde's things, particularly her clothes and jewellery. And actually, mary lynne initially thought it was her daughter jane who had been taking them, but jane actually caught brown wearing these items at least once.
