Historically, there was a continuous radiation of gray wolves from Alaska through Canada into the northern Rockies. And we have this opportunity now today to rewild parts of the American West and Mexico. Part of the reason why we advocate for abolishing these arbitrary boundaries like interstate porty is that that boundary is an obstacle to that rewilding effort.
