Is It the Fault of Politicians?
There's a mixture of both anger and apathy, but both stem from the same thing. I think that politicians need to take the vast majority of the blame for what has led people to feel this way. What politicians do really, really badly is expectations management with the public. There is a contract during election time or a time of crisis, where this show voting is desired by the public. Politicians lean into that idea - especially at election times,. We will stand in front of buildings wearing hard hats and hives jackets, making out that we built those buildings bun we had absolutely nothing to do with it. So have to do it.
