A lot of people working for Merrill Lynch in 2008. What did that have to do with anything? Not much. The good ones, the great ones, the people that excel take personal responsibility and go look at what and how and why markets have moved. You don't want to trust your RIA or some hedge fund manager unless you know exactly what the hell they're doing. For example, if a trader has a track record that goes on for 40 plus years, I'm not saying there's a huge number of those but it's starting to be more and more.
