Jacobin Radio

Introduction
Mark Fisher was an English writer whose work focused on popular culture and politics. After many years of fighting depression, he took his own life in 2017 at the age of 48. His 2014 essay collection, Ghosts of My Life, has just been reissued by zero books with a forward by Matt Cuhun and a postscript by the music critic Simon Reynolds. The geographer Matt Hubris critiques two schemes to beat climate catastrophe that seemed more dystopic than utopic.
