Would You Do a U-Turn on Your Budget?
If you were if you were sat in number 11, would you make a U-turn on your 45 billion pound budget and get back to fiscal set common sense? I mean, there'd be an immediate vote of no confidence. What I'd be doing before the 13th of October when your rescuer, the Bank of England, is perhaps going to sort off. Before then, you need to lay out a very detailed plan of action as to how this pop higher in debt is going to be paid for in the long term. That's what I'd be focusing on if I was them. Let's see, it's not an easy thing to plan that.
