I feel like, so Ed Asner plays Santa Claus. He does the job. But is he like, would you rather have Kurt Russell? 100% Tim Allen. I think it's great because a lot of this will realize throughout this film, going through it, that a lot of the other characters are actually more dry and more monotone for Will Ferrell to bounce off of.
It’s time to pass through the seven levels of the candy cane forest, through the sea of swirly-twirly gum drops, and then through the Lincoln Tunnel! Elf, was the breakout leading role for Will Farrell in the holiday season. Is this the last great Christmas classic? Can elves, well, a human raised by elves, really survive on sugar? How long would it take to walk from the North Pole to New York City? Why the hell are elves making so many etch-a-sketches and Jack in the boxes?? Time to get more action in a week than you have your whole life! Let’s go!
