How Do You Make Conneton Lace?
The book contains more than 2000 samples of fabric from the Dower Victorian era. The fabrics are vibrant and modern, some look like something you would see in Ikea or Habitat. There's a vivid blue that's a bridesmaid dress as well as leopard print almost fabric for furniture upholstery. They lived really colourful bright lives - they're just patterned in a way that we probably would find quite surprising, I think.
