Pagets Disease and Related Sindrums

Pagets disease is a benign condition characterized by abnormal bone remodelling. Increased osteo clastic bone resorption is the primary cellular abnormality. The cause is thought to be a slow viral infection, specifically from an inter nuclear nucleo capsid like structure. Observation with evaluation for bis phosphinate therapy is the most appropriate treatment.
