Learning Shouldn't Be Difficult

A lot of listeners to the show will be leaders and faculty at traditional institutions trying to figure out how to better engage their learners. This has obviously been a long time problem, but it certainly got worse during the pandemic. So let's dig a little bit into the books on J in Grass before we talk about the new white paper. It turns out that when you learn, if you can focus the difficulties on the cognitive science actually useful, but we load education with all sorts of undesired and desirable difficulties.
