The Compassion of God
The king of Nineveh says, who knows? Maybe God will have compassion. And do you know why Jonah is so upset? Because he doesn't want Nineveh to experience compassion. That's how God felt about Nineveh. If we're going to turn away from destructive behavior that includes turning away from God, then we must repent.
