The way a conspiracy works is two people have to agree to commit a crime together. And you then have to have committed overt acts or acts in furtherance of the case. The tape recording between Michael Cohen and Donald Trump regarding the Karen McDougall payment, the other payment, I would argue that's an overt act  in furtherance of this election interference case. If you don't have that in there as an overt act, the defense can make an argument that that's unrelated to Stormy Daniels. But if you have it as part an overt act in the conspiracy, it comes in and you get to prove it.
