The Role of Women in the Second World War
These are my favourite women to talk about and they're some of the most missing women from the record of the second world war. It's an image you see in the old Battle of Britain film and I think a lot of people would see that image and not understand it. And it's really, really important what they're doing. They are part of the world's first integrated air defence system. There are lots of kind of components and there are women in basically all of them.
