The Wonders and Joys of the 1256 Contract
There are ways with which you can use life insurance strategically to set it up as a Roth IRA look alike type of thing. I personally prefer to do more option trading inside of IRAs because it makes things much simpler with the tax man. A wash sale is that if you get out of a stock for a loss and you get back into it within 30 days, you cannot claim that loss on your taxes. So be aware of that. Now let's say that you are trading a 1256 contract.
