The Importance of the Priesthood in Leviticus

In Leviticus 8 and 9, the term tent of meaning is used more often than tabernacle. The word "tabernacle" has to be sanctified in order for God to meet with people there. In Exodus, it's a different story; Tabernacle means place where God meets with his people through the priesthood. This difference helps explain why Moses spent 13 months at Sinai building the tabernacle but only wrote very little Torah after that.
