The Wrong With Defending Merrick Garland
I think Garland has missed an opportunity to talk about this threat in a more explicit way. He has gone back to the model of the McBae and Nichols case where he only talks about these cases on the day of their indictment and the day that the jury comes back. And I give Ray considerable credit for speaking out on this subject. So I'm sorry to defend Merrick Garland so much, but this is the wrong with defending him.
