Business email compromise has almost doubled year on year, according to a new report. Experts say the human element plays a big role in these cases and that it's usually with humans. The individuals are either not well educated on what these types of threats look like or the organization doesn't have the right processes and controls in place such that when a human makes a mistake there's no layered backup behind it.
