The Guardian reported that 6,500 migrant workers have died in Qatar since it won its World Cup bid. "That is hard to move on from," says CNN's John Defterios. The U.S. got a score of 83 out of 100 for political rights and civil liberties by Freedom House. Syria got a one; life is far worse if you're a woman or intolerable if you're gay.
