The Importance of Immigration in China

China has had an up and down kind of involvement with demographics in the early years of the Chinese regime. The US faces a similar situation, which is declining population also. We bring in a million immigrants a year and that is what is projected to keep our population stable. China does not, there are virtually no immigrants into China. It is a very kind of mono-ethnic culture.
